The following is a list of courses that Mr. Robinson is teaching during the Second Summer Session, 2020, along with their descriptions.
CHEM 1411.014 (17615):
This is a totally asynchronus course. Both the lecture and laboratory components are completed at times that are convenient for the individual student, subect to the assignment deadlines, of course. The student and the instructor need not be logged on at the same time. Students may interact with the instructor by submitting email inquiries in Canvas, or by meeting with the instructor in the Zoom conference room during published conference times or times arranged by special appointment. This course begins on Monday, July 13, 2020 and ends on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
CHEM 1412.005 (12268):
The lecture portion of this course is asynchronous. Students may pursue their lecture activities at times they find convenient, subject to assignment deadlines, of course. The student and instructor do not need to be logged on at the same time for the lecture part of the course. The laboratory part of the course meets synchronously in Zoom. The scheduled meeting times for the laboratory component of the coruse are Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Students are expected to be logged on by 12:30 pm on lab meeting days, and to remain logged on and participating until dismissed by the instructor. The instructor may dismiss students before 4:30 pm if everyting has been covered and no additional meeting time is required that day. The instructor will never require attendance/participation past 4:30 pm. If more time is needed on a topic, the discussion will be continued in the next scheduled session, rather than running past the allotted meeting time.
